It is possible that you fail to perform heart rhythm measurements right after exercising. This is due to ‘vasoconstriction’, which is the narrowing of your blood vessels. This causes your blood circulation to slow down (which is a normal reaction of your body when you are working out).
When this happens, it becomes more difficult for the algorithm to perform a good measurement of your heartbeat and heart rhythm.
If there isn’t enough certainty on the quality of the measurement, you will receive the message that the quality of the measurement is too low once the measurement has been completed. In some cases it might even be possible that the app won’t even start the measurement because it isn’t able to detect the heartbeat. If this occurs, we suggest warming your hands and to try to perform the measurement once again.
