Heart beat
The normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 50 to 100 beats per minute and depends on the person. This is the number of contractions of the heart in one minute (bpm: beats per minute) or in other words the frequency.
Heart rhythm
The heart rhythm reflects the regularity of these contractions. An irregular heart rhythm can be the underlying cause of a stroke. Unfortunately, you may also suffer from cardiac arrhythmias with a perfectly normal heart rate. Early detection is therefore extremely important!
